The Online Casino Highlights
My experience with The Online Casino started strong. The site has a nice selection of games from recognizable software providers, an easy-to-use platform, and a handful of promos that looked fair at first glance.
However, after I tested one of the welcome bonuses, the way the terms played out felt more restrictive than I expected, which took some shine off the session.
Luckily, bonuses are optional, so my experience doesn’t have to be yours. I would recommend this site to anyone looking for quality games who doesn’t mind skipping the promotions.
What I Loved
- The site is incredibly easy to use, with tidy game categories and a clean user interface.
- You can deposit with a credit card for as little as $10, which is low compared to other sites.
- Platipus and Betsoft, high-quality software developers, provide most of the games.
Room for Improvement
- There is no loyalty rewards program, which most online casinos offer.
- The bonuses have high rollover requirements that aren’t clear in the terms and conditions.

How I Tested The Online Casino
Let’s get into the details of my gambling session at The Online Casino.
- I signed up and made an instant $20 deposit with my credit card.
- After looking over the promotions, I claimed a welcome bonus since the rollover requirements appeared very reasonable. After it was added to my account, I learned that the rollover was actually a lot higher than the terms stated, so I knew right away there was no chance of me clearing it and cashing out.
- Next, I played several games in each category, including slots, video poker, table games, live dealers, and specialties.
- In total, I spent about 16 hours reviewing this site and wagered $64.98. I enjoyed the clean, organized user interface and quality games. However, I was disappointed in the tricky bonus terms and conditions that made it impossible for me to withdraw.
- Based on my research, Bitcoin is the best method for cashing out because it’s quick and has no fees.
Why I scored it 2.5/5: There’s no online feedback or discussion (good or bad) about The Online Casino, making it difficult to gauge its reputation.
There aren’t any reviews or discussions on the internet about The Online Casino. I couldn’t find any Reddit posts, Trustpilot reviews, or comments anywhere, making it difficult to get a feel for how this site is received.
Based on the lack of player reviews, this site appears to be a new casino, even though its website says it’s been in business since 1997.
Note: There is another “The Online Casino” located in the UK (theonlinecasino.co.uk), but it’s not affiliated with this site.
The Online Casino Safety Credentials
The Online Casino meets the standard credentials for security. Take a look at how they keep players safe.
- License: Anjouan, Union of Comoros
- Encryption: The Online Casino uses SSL encryption to secure your personal information and transactions.
- Player Protection: The Online Casino provides various tools to help you gamble responsibly, including tips, a self-assessment quiz, links to organizations for those struggling with gambling addiction, and the option to enact a self-exclusion.
Verdict: Is The Online Casino Legit?
The Online Casino is legit in the sense that it’s licensed and uses SSL encryption to secure private information. However, it doesn’t have a reputation among gamblers, and there is very little information about it online.
Also, The Online Casino claims to have been established in 1997, but I couldn’t find anything to verify that.
What led to this 2/5: The vague terms and hidden point system made the bonuses less valuable than they appeared.
BONUS | ROLLOVER | BONUS CODE |
---|---|---|
Elite Crypto Welcome Bonus 100% up to $1,000 | 25x* | No code needed |
Standard Crypto Welcome Bonus 125% up to $500 | 30x* | No code needed |
Crypto Reload Boost 50% up to $500 | 18x* | No code needed |
Cash Infusion 40% up to $300 | 15x* | No code needed |
Weekly 10% Casino Rebate on Losses | N/A | No code needed |
*Note: The rollover requirements shown here are what The Online Casino advertises, but in my experience, a point system made the real wagering much higher than expected. Be sure to confirm the actual terms with support before you claim any bonus.
There are four welcome bonuses, one reload offer, and a weekly rebate. At first, I thought they seemed like great offers with low rollover requirements.
I noticed the terms and conditions were vague, and there wasn’t any additional information on the site, so I contacted customer support to ask for more details.
They explained that there is no max cash out on bonuses, no game restrictions, and all games contribute equally.
It sounded too good to be true, and as it turns out, it was.
Are There Good PROMOTIONS At The Online Casino?
The bonus terms and conditions are misleading, and for that reason, I can’t recommend claiming a bonus at this site. Take it from me. I learned the hard way when I claimed the Card Welcome Bonus. I’ll go over what happened below.
Card Welcome Bonus
The card welcome bonus matches 50% of your first credit card deposit between $10 and $300, so I got $30 to play with on a $20 deposit.
The rollover requirements are advertised as just 20x, which meant I would have to wager $600 to cash out. That’s pretty reasonable compared to most online casinos.
However, when I went to double-check my rollover, I found out that this site uses a point system. It said I would have to earn 600 points to cash out, but I would only receive a fifth of a point for every dollar wagered.
That made my 20x rollover effectively 100x, which meant I would have to bet $3,000 instead of $600.
When I contacted customer support with my concern, they verified that it was true but didn’t have an explanation for the false advertising.

The Online Casino VIP Program
The Online Casino has no VIP or loyalty rewards program. The only perk you get for playing is a weekly 10% rebate on your net losses between Monday and Sunday.
My Honest Take on The Online Casino’s Bonuses
Suffice it to say, the bonuses at The Online Casino left me feeling disappointed. No information stated the rollover requirements were attached to a point system that would force me to bet five times the amount I agreed to.
The terms and conditions left a lot of details out, and customer support did not explain. I review a lot of online casinos, and sometimes, the terms and conditions can be confusing, but this is the first time I’ve experienced this situation.
The reason behind the 3.5/5: The game variety and quality were solid, though nothing particularly stood out to make it memorable.
The Online Casino’s game selection is average. There is a decent amount of slots and a satisfactory number of table games, video poker, live dealers, and specialties.
They were high-quality, organized well, and functioned smoothly.
I had fun exploring the different categories and had a few nice wins. I wish there had been a little more information, like game synopses and RTPs for all titles, but I can look past that.
Overall, it was a good experience, although nothing really stood out about this gambling session compared to others.
Software Providers
The software providers aren’t listed, but most games were from Platipus Gaming and Betsoft. Fresh Deck Studios and others supply the live dealer tables.

slots

Slots make up the majority of the games on this site. There are 279 slots, which is a decent selection but not as large as some other casinos.
I recognized titles from popular software developers like Betsoft and Platipus Gaming.
I started by playing Book of Helios and ended up by $2 after I triggered the bonus round. Next, I played Reels of Wealth and scored $9.66 during free spins. Finally, I played Spirits of the Prairies, ending with $40.77 in my account.
All of the Platipus games I opened had a 95% RTP, but the Betsoft titles didn’t provide that information. It would have been nice to have some filters to narrow my game search, such as jackpots, number of reels, or software provider.
Slots contribute 20% of every dollar wagered towards clearing bonus rollover requirements.
Blackjack

There are 11 blackjack titles, a middle-of-the-road selection compared to most online casinos.
There is a decent variety, including Single-Deck, Surrender, and Super 7. Most of them are from Platipus, but a few are from Betsoft. The games are straightforward, easy to play, and have clean graphics.
The first title I played was Single-Deck, where the minimum bet was just 50¢. Next, I played European Multihand and broke even. The last game I tried was Blackjack Surrender, where I yo-yoed between wins and losses, ending with $40. 57.
The RTPs of the titles I played ranged from 98.76% to 99.58%. Blackjack contributes 20% of every dollar wagered towards clearing bonus rollover requirements.
Roulette

There are nine roulette games from Betsoft and Platipus at this casino. They primarily consist of American and European variations, with one Mini and one Zoom roulette title.
I first played European roulette, where I won $4. Next, I played Zoom roulette, losing a few and winning a few.
Lastly, I played American roulette, which brought my balance to $43.57.
The games all looked similar, but they worked well. Betsoft’s titles didn’t provide RTPs, but Platipus’s games ranged from 94% to 97.30%.
Overall, it’s a good selection that covers the basics. Roulette contributes 20% per dollar wagered toward clearing bonus rollover requirements.
Other Table Games

There are seven other table games, including poker variations, Red Dog, Three Card Rummy, and Top Card Trumps. The selection offers a good variety of options compared to other online casinos.
I started with Top Card Trumps and lost three dollars right away. I moved on to Three Card Rummy, where I won two dollars back. Lastly, I played Red Dog, which, unfortunately, brought my balance down to $37.57.
All the games I played were from Betsoft and didn’t provide any RTP information, which seems pretty typical of that developer. All table games contribute 20¢ per dollar wagered toward clearing bonus rollover requirements.
Video Poker

This casino has only five video poker titles, a small offering compared to other sites. The four titles from Platipus have modern graphics, but the one from Betsoft looks outdated.
I played Jacks or Better first. It had an auto-hold feature that was really helpful for people like me who don’t play video poker regularly. Despite the assistance, I still lost a few dollars. Next, I played Bonus Deuces Wild, where I did poorly and lost most hands. Lastly, I played Deuces Wild and didn’t get any wins. I ended up with $28.27 in my account.
The RTPs I could find ranged from 97.42% to 99.54%. Video poker contributes 20% of every dollar wagered toward clearing bonus rollover requirements.
Casual Games – Specialty Games

There are only nine specialty games at The Online Casino. It’s a small selection but includes popular titles like Bingo, Plinko, and Crash games.
The first game I played was Tap the Pot, where you can randomly win cash prizes. My second round scored me a $7.70 win. Next, I played Olympus Plinko but didn’t win enough to make a profit.
Finally, I played Triple Cash or Crash and only won 83¢.
The graphics were excellent, and I appreciated the fun themes. The RTPs I could find hovered around 96% and 97%. Casual games contribute 20¢ for every dollar wagered toward bonus rollover requirements
Live Dealer Games

There are 27 live dealer games, including blackjack, baccarat, roulette, and casino Hold ‘Em. It’s not as large of an offering as many other sites provide, but most table game players will find something they like here.
I joined a blackjack table first, where, after a few hands, I broke even. Next, I played auto roulette and won $2. Lastly, I played baccarat and ended with $37.95 in my account.
I had a good experience playing, thanks to the clear streaming and friendly dealers. I also appreciated that I could find blackjack and roulette tables with $1 minimums and roulette for just 50¢.
Live dealer games contribute 20% of every dollar wagered toward clearing bonus rollover requirements.
THE ONLINE CASINO POKER ROOM
The Online Casino has a poker room, which not all gambling sites provide. You’ll find it by clicking on the hamburger at the top right of the screen and selecting poker in the drop-down box.
The poker room is divided into cash games, which have buy-ins ranging from $10 to $37, and tournaments, some of which are free. There are four cash games that include Hold’ Em, Omaha, and Mixed, and there are five tournaments consisting of Omaha and Texas Hold’ Em.
It’s a decent selection that should satisfy most people looking for a poker game.
3.5/5 rating reason: Deposits were easy and varied, but the limited withdrawal options held it back.
The banking methods at The Online Casino are standard and convenient. There is a wide variety of ways to deposit, so everyone should be able to find one that suits them.
However, withdrawal methods are limited, and I think this site could benefit from a few more options to make cashing out easier for the general public.
The Online Casino DEPOSIT Options
You can deposit using credit cards, cryptos, and money transfer platforms. Most of the methods are instant, and none of them have fees.
- Fastest Deposit Method: Credit card or Crypto
- Additional Fees: No
My Recommended Deposit Method: Credit Card
I used a credit card to make my $20 deposit. The funds were in my account instantly, and there were zero fees.
Credit cards and crypto have the same low minimums, but crypto has a more flexible maximum.
Both are quick and fee-less, so I recommend either option. Conversely, I would avoid bank wires for the massive minimum required and slow processing time..
Here’s a table with all the available deposit options.

The Online Casino Withdrawal Options
Bitcoin and Cash MG are the only ways to withdraw at this casino, and the latter has fees based on the amount you are cashing out.
- Verification Required? Yes, photocopy of a picture ID and possibly proof of address
- Fastest Withdrawal Method: Bitcoin takes a few minutes
My Recommended Payout Method: Bitcoin
I didn’t have enough money left in my account to cash out, so I couldn’t get first-hand experience with the process.
However, based on the two methods available, I would recommend Bitcoin for its wider range of limits, speed, and no fees.
Here’s a table with all the withdrawal methods available.

Explaining the 3.5/5: I felt like the support was friendly, but not always helpful or responsive.
You can contact customer support via live chat or email. Live chat was relatively fast, and they answered most of my questions. Unfortunately, I didn’t get a response through email in the two days it took me to write this review.
- Support Email Address: Message box under “contact us” link at the bottom of page.
- Languages: English
- Live Chat: Yes, automated at first, then you can get connected to a real person
- Phone Number: N/A
- Response Time: A few minutes
Here’s How I Tested It
I tested both methods to see how fast I would get a response and how helpful the customer support agents were. I’ll go over my experience below.

Live Chat
The first time I opened live chat to ask about where this casino is licensed, I connected with someone within a few minutes who was able to answer my question.
The second time, I was concerned that the bonus’s rollover requirements were different from what was advertised.
They didn’t offer any explanation and only reiterated what I was telling them, so it wasn’t very helpful.
I had a hard time finding the email option. I finally discovered that when I logged out of my account, there was a “contact us” link at the bottom of the page that brought up an email message box.
However, the link wasn’t there when I logged into my account.
I sent a message asking what documentation I’d need to send in to verify my identity, but I didn’t get a reply within 48 hours.
My Personal Experience With The Online Casino’s Support
I felt the customer support was a little lacking. Sometimes they were helpful, and other times they just repeated information I already knew.
I was hoping they would be a bit more knowledgeable. Plus, I never got an email response.
That said, everyone I talked to was friendly.
What’s behind the 3.5/5: The site is well-designed and mobile-friendly, though a few glitches and missing filters kept it from being excellent.
Overall, the user experience at The Online Casino was positive.
The site is intuitively designed, and the games are organized neatly by category. I did wish there was the option for filtering the slots so jackpot games were easier to find.
I also ran into a few technicalities, like the “contact us” link only being available when I was logged out and getting a 500 error several times when I tried to go to my account. Other than that, I didn’t experience too many issues.
I also explored the mobile version on my iPhone. It was well-optimized for a small screen and was easy to use. I got a pop-up message asking me to switch to Safari from Google Chrome to play games, but I didn’t have any problems sticking to Google Chrome.

My Verdict
The Online Casino has quality games, friendly customer support, no-nonsense site design, and enough games to entertain most gamblers’ interests.
On the other hand, for a casino that claims to have been open since 1997, there is almost no information about it. Its reputation is non-existent.
But what I liked the least was the bonus terms and conditions. It was quite a disappointment to learn that my rollover requirements were five times more than what was listed.
However, you don’t have to claim a bonus. If you skip the promotions, you can still have a great time playing games by popular software developers.
What Makes The Online Casino Unique?
- Low Deposit Minimums: You can make a credit card deposit here for just $10, which is a rarity at other sites.
- Weekly Rebate: You automatically get a 10% rebate on your losses from the previous week every Monday.
- Low Minimum Blackjack Tables: Most sites live dealer blackjack tables start at $10 a hand, but The Online Casino has tables for just $1.
